Overview & Highlights

Nestled in the charming district of 1090 Wien, Cafe & Bar MOCCati serves as a delightful oasis for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike. A blend of contemporary design and a welcoming atmosphere greets you as you step through the doors, making it an ideal spot for a quick coffee break or a leisurely brunch.

The cafe features a cozy yet sophisticated interior, with unique elements like an ancient Greek style sculpture adding a touch of intrigue to the space. Many patrons have expressed their surprise at the variety on the menu, which ranges from quality coffees to delicious pastries. Natan Ost describes the place with high praise: “Delicious food. Great interior design and atmosphere. Definitely recommend!” It's clear that the visual appeal complements the culinary experience, creating a delightful ambiance that encourages you to sit back and unwind.

Be prepared as you embark on a flavor journey with their expertly brewed coffees, which have garnered acclaim from satisfied customers. Itamar Naim notes the "really good" coffee that pairs beautifully with the restaurant's compact yet satisfying selection of food. Even the modest variety of sweets, as highlighted by Kostas Markakis, holds an interesting twist, and who wouldn't want to treat themselves after a rich coffee experience?

For those who may feel intimidated by language barriers, the friendly staff—like the lovely lady who assisted Ems Smith—is here to guide you through the menu with warmth and professionalism. Outdoor seating provides a serene escape, perfect for enjoying a warm cup of coffee in the shade, especially on those hot Viennese days.

While the cafe excels in many aspects, it's important to note that they only accept cash, so a quick visit to the nearby ATM is advisable. Nonetheless, Raymond Libaad sums it up perfectly by saying it's a nice cafe for a quick cup of coffee with prompt and friendly service.

In a city known for its rich history and vibrant culture, Cafe & Bar MOCCati stands out as a must-visit gem. Whether you need to recharge between explorations or simply want to indulge in excellent coffee and food, this cafe is a warm invitation to enjoy the moment. Make it a point to discover this local treasure during your time in Wien!

Delicious food. Great interior design and atmosphere. Definitely recommend ! Also they only take cash so make sure you have it and if not, there’s an ATM near by

A very nice coffee place in the middle of the street. I was surprised by the place because I expected something very basic but they have some variety of food, and the coffee was really good! The prices are normal to Vienna and the service was very quick and professional.

Simple but interesting. Small variety of sweets. Very nice coffee. A strange addition is an ancient Greek style sculpture

Came here around a week ago and was served by such a lovely lady who spoke in English (mine and my friends German was very rusty!) and gave us advice on what to order. Food was super good and the outdoor seating area (in the shade) was so lovely on such a hot day. Would definitely reccomend

Nice cafe for a quick cup of coffee with sidewalk seating. Average coffee for Vienna. Prompt friendly service
